Heat ghee in a pan and saute badis until golden. Add rice and stir gently.Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, roasted cumin powder and saute for a minute. Add two and a half cups of water and bring it to a boil. As it begins to boil, lower the heat and simmer, covered, for ten minutes. Stir in garam masala powder and salt. Simmer further until water is absorbed and rice is cooked. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot. |
